Through the Surface
Numbed senses, floating within a void, emotions. Hidden and captured in that space you are. There is no change of direction where there is no path. No pattern. Minimal movements tickle your skin.
When you know nothing, when you see monochromic infinity, there is no will to escape. No harbour to approach, where do you go? Stay floating because you mean to find peace in something that has never gifted you anything?
Can't feel your origins, you find yourself as a lost mind.
Here is now everywhere. You stay afloat in this infinite vessel.
Suddenly there are those movements again, you feel slight waves disturbing your stance. It's cold now. The inner heart starts to expand - burning hot in this frigid space. It is longing for something. Was there a switch?
Slowly you start to rise up. Abrupt thoughts flash through. Now turn your sight upwards, spread your arms. Perceive the light coming closer. Absorb the pain your furious heart inserts.
The pressure, it gets less.
The escape chose you.
Through the surface.
After the sensation enchanted the fingers it reaches your chest. You have broken the surface and the soul explodes. Even more infinite it is now. Bright light, eternal freedom. You have found something wonderful. Break your chains, it feels heavy. The surface left behind, start to fly. Now the air can charm your skin. And directions emerge.
